Raven stops courting -
thinks Mama not so funny,
digs for hidden food.

Tall ice cream cone trees
dump great weight of snow on me -
not so sweet in hair.

Mounds in snow - bother!
I brush snow from buried blooms
I told them: "too soon".

Neighbors build snow folk -
leaping horse and sitting bear.
